Bridport – Saturday 10 June 2017

My first Waterstones in this quest (naturally I have been to many other branches before) was Bridport.  I went with my husband, Peter – who fortunately is happy to humour me and my weird book obsessions!  It was my first visit to this particular branch on a lovely sunny day and we enjoyed exploring the town.   I didn’t buy any books here!

There are a number of other book shops in the town too, including the imaginatively entitled The Book Shop, Bridport Old Books and Wild and Homeless Books (now *that* is a great name for a book shop!).

Here it is…

At the time of my visit I was reading The Mill on the Floss by George Eliot (that took me until 1st July to finish) 3½/5 and listening to the audio version of The Call of the Wild by Jack London, also 3½/5.

After leaving here we drove to Lyme Regis, where I bought a book in The Sanctuary Bookshop!  Happy days.
